A colorful doodle made by Google was a touching tribute to the late music star Krishnakumar Kunnath, also known as KK. KK was one of the most popular singers of his time, and his smooth singing wowed everyone. Many popular love songs from the late 1990s and early 2000s, like “Aankhon Mein Teri,” “Khuda Jaane,” “Dil Ibadaat,” and others, had his voice on them.
KK was born in Delhi on August 23, 1968. His emotional voice and heartfelt ballads made him a beloved icon in the Indian music business.
After graduating from Kirori Mal College at Delhi University, KK started his journey into music. At first, he worked in marketing before focusing on his singing career.
In 1994, he got his big break when he sent in a demo tape that got him jobs singing on commercials, which was the start of an amazing career.
His first Bollywood song as a background singer was “Tadap Tadap” from Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam, which came out in 1999.
