Starting on Friday, October 18, Nepal and the United States of America will engage in a three-match Twenty20 International series. The whole T20I series will be held at Dallas’ Grand Prairie Stadium.
The USA team will be captained by Monank Patel and will include other seasoned batters like Aaron Jones and Andries Gous. The important bowlers for the hosts are Nosthusha Kenjige, Saurabh Netravalkar, and Harmeet Singh.
The USA surprised everyone by making it to the 2024 T20 World Cup Super 8 round. Interestingly, they defeated Pakistan and presented India with a strong enough challenge. They just won the Namibia T20I series and finished second in the Netherlands Tri-Nation T20I Series.
Conversely, senior players like Sandeep Lamichhane, Dipendra Singh Airee, and Sompal Kami would back Nepal’s leader, Rohit Paudel.
They were unable to advance to the Super 8 stage of the T20 World Cup after losing all of their matches. They had a respectable showing in the Canada T20I Tri-series going into this series.
Only one T20I match between the two teams took place during the 2015 T20 World Cup Qualifier. The Nepalese team then triumphed by six wickets after completing a 122-run chase.
